Buy The Stand!
Personally, I think it should come with the stand. I didn't buy it to begin with and I like the plaque so much, I want people to be able to read it, so I ordered the stand separately.

Much better than flowers!
This is the 15th time I have used this in the last 6 years. It is so much nicer than flowers as it is a lasting memorial. I pick the saying that fits the person.
